This website was created as part of the ECDE 211 – Professionalism course to explore professional development opportunities for Early Childhood Education (ECE) graduates. Our group chose to research the Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF) — Canada’s largest non-profit organization dedicated to excellence in early learning and child care. Through this site, you will learn about CCCF’s mission, history, activities, publications, professional learning opportunities, and the benefits of membership for emerging ECE professionals.
Why CCCF?
The CCCF represents a national voice for child care and early childhood educators, connecting professionals from coast to coast.
It provides training, research, advocacy, and networking that help educators grow and improve the quality of care for young children across Canada.
This project highlights how CCCF supports the professional journey from student to practitioner — showing that continuous learning and collaboration are key parts of being an ECE professional.
